I. Tailor made products
✔Surface modification treatment : We offer all kinds of modified Mg(OH)2 powder to meet clients’ need. These processed products can improve flowability, physical properties and toughness.
✔Pure powder granulation : 100% Mg(OH)2 powder content, carrier free pellet. For plastic mixing production, it is easier to process and feed without dust pollution problem.
✔Premixed granulation : Contains 80% Mg(OH)2 powder and 20% carrier of PP/PE. Easy to process and feed, and no dust pollution. In mixing granulation, it can increase productivity by more than 30%, reduce device dissipations and improve production efficiency.
II.Processing
✔In order to obtain satisfactory mechanical and flame retardant performance for products with very high-content Mg(OH)2, it must be uniformly dispersed in the product. It is advisable to use a twinscrew blending extruder and a reasonable feeding method.
✔To reach UL94V-0 grade with single-component formula of Mg(OH)2, it needs to add volume up to 60% of the total material. However, if only smoke suppression is required, the usage of Mg(OH)2 can be lower.
✔Our products have been widely used in low-smoke halogen-free copper clad laminates / laminates FR-4, CEM-3, CEM-1 and other models.
